Teach us your Ways Oh Lord! Many wonder where have we gone wrong! I have said this before myself...When we drive God and His Ways, His Word OUT we miss the mark! We need to instead humble OURSELVES before the LORD and drive our knees to the ground and seek Him... The enemy lies to us daily...He spews out lies daily into our brains, the only way to see this is to know the Lord and discern by His Holy Spirit that has been given to His children that ask and receive of it...it is a free gift as salvation... Ask yourself and evaluate how many of your thoughts come from the enemy, have you thought about this? The ways of the Lord can be walked out by Him, through Him and ONLY HIM! Yet we do not get to change the bible to our life style or our walk in accordance to the world, our desires, our parents, or anyone if it does not line up with what the Bible tells us...we must train our children in the ways of the Lord. I confess I have repented much for not always doing my utmost in this...The Jewish people believe to teach your children Torah means to drive away evil...I agree....we need to teach our children all the day!!! Then they shall know good from evil and right from wrong!!! ONLY THIS WAY LEADS TO EVERLASTING LIFE AND PEACE!!! This is what is wrong with the generation behind us...it is that everything geared at them is ungodly. It speaks of a life void of God even the shows that may seem innocent...where is the mention of the Lord in them, is it not devoid of God? Then there is the flat our blatant sinful forms of media that are against the bible and God! We must fall to our knees in repentance and seek the Lord to forgive us for our ignorance and idolatry ourselves. For allowing our children to partake as well...just because it seems innocent does not mean it is...When did we stop thinking and asking questions for the righteous cause of the Lord and His Word. Truly the media is as the knowledge of the tree of good and evil...we need to be eating with the Lord in the tree of life...His Word and His Spirit...He is So Merciful!!! He Is coming SOON!!! That is not a cliche it is the TRUTH!!! I ask this generation to consider going on a media fast...just turn it all off...all of the games...the movies...the ipods, ipads, gadgets, music and seek the Lord...I challenge you to do this. I did and I found the first time I was over run with stimuli...When I made my children do this...whew...it was HARD at first..but then finally fruit came!!! I was uncomfortable at first...I knew this was a problem...I sought the Lord fervently...He was silent...I sought harder...He still was silent...I sought more...then nothing profound...or so I thought...I began to see the fruit of peace in my heart..in my home..in my children...Yes there is much to say about what feeds our soul/spirit...there is much to say about being with the Lord...daily...a life style...I am being transformed continually and in a state of repentance I speak to you only from my life not from a place of pride!!! I am on my way to a deeper walk with Him and taking my children with me!!! I just hope to provoke someone to a walk with the Lord where I AM as I walk with Him!!!
