Teacher Appreciation Day at the Kansas City Zoo Thank you Teachers for all YOU do!!! KCZOO: Let’s hear three cheers for teachers, hip, hip, hooray! The Kansas City Zoo is looking forward to the 2014-2015 school year. In preparation, we would like to extend a big thank you for all that you do. In partnership with the Kansas City Environmental Educator’s Network (KCEEN), the Zoo will host a day to honor teachers on Saturday, May 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Teacher appreciation activity stations are scheduled until 2 p.m. A Healthy Planet + Happy Class = Happy Teachers Spice up your curriculum or classroom with Zoo-mazing ideas. Join us to explore healthy planet activities and programs to implement in your class/school. You will get to enjoy free admission at the Zoo for you (teachers, administrators and home school educators) and 3 of your family members. You must have a valid teaching ID. Advanced reservations are not required. Just show up!
