Teaching Assistant Assessor Ambipro Recruitment is working with a leading training provider to recruit for Apprenticeship/ NVQ Assessors in Teaching in the North West, South West and West Midlands. My client is looking for Assessors to mentor the progress of their apprentices/ NVQ’s who are preparing a portfolio of evidence in Teaching. As an Assessor in Teaching you will be competent to assess in Support Teaching and Learning. Supporting the delivery of the Training Provider’s apprenticeship frameworks by providing assessments in the workplace. Your role will require you to manage and assess a caseload of learners who are currently undertaking their apprenticeship in Support Teaching and Learning. You will be expected to maintain your own diary, work autonomously, complete paperwork, keeping accurate records, being responsible for meeting deadlines and keeping to agreed timescales. Monitoring and reporting on the candidate’s progress on all elements of the framework and in areas associated with their employment and recording this on the relevant training Provider data systems and in the portfolios is essential. Ideally to be considered for this role you must be a qualified NVQ Assessor (D32, D33, A1 Award, TAQA) and having a teaching qualification such as PTTLS or equivalent is desirable.
