Teach a man to swim not by “dropping the bomb” on him It only teaches him to survive and not learn the basics of swimming “Drop the bomb” is prone to errors both the mentor and the student It builds up trauma instead of fruitful learning experience To teach a man to swim… Carefully orient him to the shore and the sea Inform him of what he needs to know Along with the dangers at sea Equip him with the basics and start by “modeling” Direct him to a common goal and guide him along the way Don’t expect him to know everything Because a new comer will always need to learn Not all seas are the same anywhere Not even the one on the same spot is the same Take time to teach the right way And he will surely win!
