Teaching position available Feb. 15, 2015 at 2 Joy English schools in Nantou City and MingJian, 3 days each per week. Hours are from 1 or 2 until 9 (Sat. is 8:30 until 12:30), 3-4 paid teaching hours per day plus prep time. I am leaving this job when my contract is up and moving to Taipei. This position pays $600NT and provides a free apartment (3 BR, 2 bath, 2 balconies, washer – just pay for internet and utilities, really cheap and nice). The job is ideal for someone who wants to be immersed in Taiwanese culture and likes a small town pace, but Taichung is only 1 hour away by bus. One school 10 minute walk and the other 15-minute bus ride but if you have a scooter, much easier.
