Teaching students to think critically is paramount, so you might as well make it fun! The Natural Inquirer is a middle school science education journal that is loaded with content that is generated as a result of actual scientific research. In critical reading based assignments, students read through age appropriate scientific articles. There are several reflection/learning check stations along the way and plenty of vocabulary words. Students even get to become scientists as they do the Discovery FACTivity!
