Teaching the 11yo to say a firm no thank you to a boy who likes her, as she does not return his crush. For some reason, the boy is not getting the message and keeps seeking her attention/time/approval. For some reason, this infuriates me. So many women go out with guys to avoid hurting their feelings, and this is where it starts. She doesnt want to be perceived as mean or rude but he is the one causing her discomfort. So I told her to be polite but firm. Because hes 11 and this is probably the first time hes had the courage to ask someone out. Hes not some disgusting pig on a train or in an office or a bar. But he keeps asking. And in my head I keep thinking: NO MEANS NO YOU ENTITLED BRAT.
