Teachings From YaHWeH God’s Word: Week 2 12/08/2014 I have a thought that I would like to share with those of us who have seen and heard about many of the traditions of men” that are not the celebrations of God. (YHWH) Like: Halloween - Where it started and where the origins began and what it stood for and what the early Church believed about such rituals and celebrations: There are many, many traditions of men that have permeated the Church and through time have watered down the message from the Church. They have caused a “mixture” of God’s Feasts and Celebrations with the world’s Feasts and Celebrations. MY question is WHY those of us who have been enlightened by God (YHWH) and His Word and have been pricked in the heart, about these traditions of men, wait until a week before such celebration is to take place, or in some cases the day of such celebration, - blast the “traditions of men” and try to place others under conviction while they are deep into the long celebrated events, and to the hurt of many? To me this is not LOVE, while yet it can be truth in what we say, and it is right, what about the one that has to sit down, and count the cost of what has been said, what about their heart? Are we not supposed to do all things in LOVE? – I’m not negating right “doctrine”, I very well know about these celebrations for many years. I would like us to take in consideration our neighbor and do unto them as WE would like to be treated. To just blast knowledge is not love, For knowledge “puffeth up”. 1 Corinthians 8:1 (KJV) 1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. We should, talking about “celebrations” the “tradtions of men”, consider some things. First, are we right? Second what is our motive? Thirdly has God spoke to us that we are the “one” to help our neighbor? Fourth have we fasted and prayed about it and are confident all of the above is in place and we have heard from God on how to approach the one we are trying to help. God’s Word should be easily entreated> James 3:17 (KJV) 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Why, for example, trying to teach about, any pagan celebration, or “traditions of men”, Halloween for example, do we not start in November - December, January start posting facts and descriptions of such events, along with the WORD of God (YHWH) which will go out and accomplish what it is intended to accomplish? The WORD of YaHWeH is LIVING and alive and will convict, reprove, and instruct unto righteousness> 2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV) 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: Isaiah 45:23 (KJV) 23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Isaiah 55:11 (KJV) 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Those that belong to HIM, will see our love and sincerity, and be open to plainly see. For we should have spent hours in prayer and fasting out of a heart of LOVE so that our “knowledge”, and burden for TRUTH, is to be shared and accepted why do we not start many months ahead in love preparing WORDS of the LORD with encouragement and love and rightly dividing? All those that posted about Halloween 4 days 0r on the day, start now on The next “tradition of man” that is already on the calendar!….Do not wait until the person is in the day, steeped in the traditions of men, and try to show them light. While truth is truth that’s not considering thy neighbor in love. This will cause rebellion, and strife and every evil work, in which is what we are trying to prevent. I remember when I was being taught about a certain holiday, and I was like blasted on the day or day before. It hurt my heart, and all that my Dad and mother had told me growing up was “ A LIE”; I was not given time to examine the scriptures nor prayer or to fasting to “see” if what was shared was correct. Although I came through it, it was a time of extreme trials and angony. Which could have been done in the right way and to be easily entreated. I FULLY KNOW – what it is to be a Pharisee, and “know” the law, but with no love, demanding things that I could not live up to myself! So while if in love, we see something that our Brother or Sister is in error, what does the scripture say? Galatians 6:1 (KJV) 1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Let everything be done in love the way we want to be treated. 1 Corinthians 13:1-2 (KJV) 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. Many of you have wells of knowledge on the traditions of men” and I would like you to share here on our Disciples page. We want to walk as Yahushua/Jesus walked and to “destroy the works of the devil” Post in advance with love and the treasures that God has shown us will help those that read. Ephesians 4:15-16 (KJV) 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
