Teagan had her follow up appointment with the pediatric surgeon today and she was happy with her progress as well as the way her x-ray looked. She said everything has shifted to the right a bit and is where she would expect it to be with no right lung. We see her again in April to do an ultrasound and another x-ray to try and get a better look at Teagans diaphragm. She is considered high risk of re-herniating due to having done so already and will be closely monitored. Teagan will also be getting a referral to see specialists about a possible expandable prosthetic and/or a titanium rib specialist once she hits 18 months. I am VERY happy to report that she has finally gained a little weight :D She is up to 13 lbs 8 oz which is about a pound heavier than 2 weeks ago!!! Go Teagan!!! Her next round of appointments is on the 23rd so we will see how much more she can gain in the NEXT two weeks...
