Team AMSOIL Claims 4 National Championship honors at the American Powerboat Association Outboard Performance Craft National Championships Team AMSOIL driver Terry Rinker put an exclamation point on the teams 2013 racing season by being victorious in 4 classes at the 2013 APBA, OPC National Championship races this past Labor Day weekend. The Annual Labor Day weekend event held in Kankakee Illinois brought racers from all parts of the country to compete for a coveted National Championship in their desired class. AMSOIL driver Terry Rinker was successful in grabbing the checkered flag in the Modified Unlimited (Mod-U), Formula 1, SST-200, and SST-120 classes leading every lap of their final event and establishing a new record for most wins in different classes at the National Championship event. Terry was also able to bring home the First Runner-Up position in the Formula 150 event. Competing for Team AMSOIL, drivers Ashton & Rob Rinker were also successful at reaching the podium. Ashton Rinker battled deck to deck with his father Terry during the qualifying process and finished Third in final race of the SST-120 class. Team AMSOIL Driver Rob Rinker stepped up to the Formula 1 class for the third time this year and earned a third place finish in the Formula 1 final event. “The season has been a great one for me along with my team mates and Sons, Ashton and Rob Rinker. We cannot thank AMSOIL enough for their support and allowing us to showcase their products on a championship level.
