Team, I want to touch base with all of you after Wednesdays practice. I want to explain my disappointment in the practice. You cant show greatness once in a while. Some of you may have been giving 100% others were giving 100% at times, but 50% at others. I was disappointed in your effort and displayed skills at practice. I have seen every one of you play solid hockey and show skills you did not have at the start of the season. I know how good you can be, but a coach cant get a player to give 100%, 100% of the time.The player must find the desire to give the effort for himself and his team every shift, every practice and every game. This comes from inside you. I know how good you can be, I have seen it, I expect it every game, every practice and every shift. I expect it! Believe in your own ability and display your own skills each shift. I am proud of each of you and your about to capture greatness with a league championship. I know your going to show up and play your game. Do not let this slip from your hands. This is not about me as your coach, or coaches, its not about your parents, its about you and your line mates. You need to speak greatness into yourself and believe in yourself and give it all to yourself and your team members, its about the moment and realizing 60 minutes of greatness.
