Team In Training has not only taught me about how to help cure blood cancers, meet new friends, and get out of my self. It has reunited me with someone I never thought I would see again. Today I got an email from my team manager asking a question there was a team roster with some names. One of these names on the list was the same name of a girl I went to elementary school with. We were close as close as friends get. Her plus her cousin I think were the best of friends, the best I have ever had. But as life goes on and we got into High School things just change. I tell my kids stories of them from time time. Like how Laura got to be the voice of Peppermint Patty on an episode of Peanuts. So tonight I went up to the lady that had the same name and asked her a few questions and it was her. After all these years and all the miles I have run on the same team she was right there. I really thought I would never see her again. Team In Training is an amazing group to be a part of.
