Team St. Lucia gave Grenada a run for their money in the Track Meet of the Windward Islands School Games. St. Lucia led for the entire Meet however, they faded in both of the 4x400 m Relays for Male and Female Nevertheless the Team must be commended for a very committed performance as it was a complete team effort. The Team won the Female segment of the Meet with 105 Points, while our very own Shermalyn Edward was adjudged Victrieux Lodorum - Gold in the Long Jump and Silvers in the High Jump and Javelin Events. St. Lucia picked up a total of five gold medals with the highlight being the Girls 4x100 where Gabriella after receiving the baton in fourth position ran a blistering successful final leg. The final Points Tally are as follows Grenada 222 St. Lucia 214 St. Vincent 212 Once again congratulations to Team St. Lucia - well done as you have made us proud
