#TeamSteffy Wasted talent!! If there is one thing that drives us crazy it is waste. We love our soap genre and want to see it succeed. That is why the sheer wasted talent on today’s B&B is so stupefying and frustrating. Right now the show revolves around Hope Logan and Brooke Logan, two one dimensional characters played by attractive women with average skill. What we don’t see, and what boggles the mind, is the talent wasted and opportunity lost in the constant need to force these two characters upon the audience to the exclusion of all others. We noted six talented actors/actresses that essentially appear ONLY in the two central character’s storylines: Jacob Young, Scott Clifton, Darin Brooks, Rena Sofer, Thorsten Kaye and Heather Tom. These talented folks have a combined 32 Daytime Emmy nominations and 10 wins!! One would think the writers/powers that be at B&B could find a way to utilize some of that talent wouldn’t you? Some way other than sharing scenes with or talking about two characters whose portrayers have a combined total of 3 Emmy nominations and zero wins? Sound off and tell us what you think...
