Teamrider Gunnar Biniasch finishes 7th in the first stop of the PKRA Slalom World Tour in Austria ————————————— Stronger winds reaching up to 40 knots in the gusts battered the PKRA Austria on the final day. In the morning the organisers decided that they would wait for the wind to die down a bit before starting the races for safety reasons. Gunnar took this chance to get used to riding his twin tip with his bandaged foot and bust out some huge airs on his 7m2 Fury to keep the crowds entertained. At 13.00 the wind had settled to about 30 knots and one more round of slalom was run on a shortened course. Gunnar showed great speed and skill and won the semi final heat by a big margin and placed 5th in the finals which allowed him to move up 2 placed in the rankings to 7th. Congratulations on a great result racing against some of the best in the world!
