Tearing down abandoned homes. Getting guns off the streets. Expanding access to after-school and mentoring programs. The Flint-area students I sat down with today, as part of the Youth Empowerment Solutions program, had some great ideas on how to make our community a better place to live. Indeed, we can all learn a lot by sitting down with our future generations and listening to what they have to say.
