Tears and Rhinos Ive been thinking about the Battle of Ikkas Tears, and Id quite like to put some words commemorating it on the wiki, proabably in the Sermersuaq or Suaq Font page (which also lets me flag up the invasion). However, I am *keenly aware* of how easy it would be to get it wrong and cause a lot of bad feeling. At the moment I am erring toward: In 378YE, the Thule sent armies from Otkodov into the Silver Peaks, where they attempted to create a beachead into Sermersuaq. Barbarian and Imperial forces were well matched, but the advantage appeared to lie with the Thule as they slowly pushed the defenders back. During the Autumn Equinox, the Battle of Ikkas Tears took place on the cold plains east of the glacier. The Thule had sent an elite force of warriors accompanied by a massive warbeast to steal an artefact of unknown power from the Face of Ikka; they were intercepted by a warband of the Empires heroes using the Sentinel Gate. This powerful barbarian army inflicted a painful defeat on the Imperial heroes, perhaps the most significant since the death of Empress Britta two years previously. Im going to post this round the facebook groups of the other nations who fought but I wanted to give you lot first crack at it because if it goes up it goes up in your territorial area. Can I get some feedback please?
