Teatr Weimar perform A Language At War in Berlin, Munich and Vienna In january and february Teatr Weimar are performing A Language At War in Berlin, Munich and Vienna. A Language at War premiered in Malmö 2011. The performance have since made a guest performance at the Gothenburg Dance & Theatre Festival (2012). A Language at war is a journey inside language and communication. It takes the language philosophy of Wittgenstein as departure to investigate how communication works. The three actors are staging aspects of language in a visually exciting show. On the video screens surrounding the stage there is filmed sequences and live video making language almost a physical experience. Together with composer Kent Olofsson, he develops a complex scenic score where both text, sound and room opens up to a multi-layered experience. / SvD | This is a successful multi-modal performance that integrates live cameras and video, pre-recorded audio and live actors.
