Technical Services & Mechanical/Electrical Assembler 90 Day contract to possible hire with our client in Melbourne. Send resume to jppauken@southeaststaffing Work with electric motors, parts, sub-assemblies, steel structures, etc. Cable harness, wiring, assemble & build to schematics, various wiring and mechanical assembly on units. (Note that is electrical, not electronic.) Other additional items, as required. Mechanical aptitude & ability to “think on your feet”. Able to diagnose problems and communicate corrective actions to customers & fellow employees. Ability to work on their feet most of the day, climb & work on a ladder, and be flexible. Lift in excess of 50 lbs. Hard worker, self-driven, good learner, etc. . Essential Functions: - Assemble and wire industrial equipment - Provide hands-on technical assistance to in-house personnel, dealers, installers and customers. - Inspect warranty parts for corrective and preventative actions. - Complete and provide reports to include those addressing technical product issues, problems encountered with products in-field, assessing causation (improper operation by customer, improper installation, any potential manufacturing concerns, design issues, etc.) - Provide repair and Preventative Maintenance of shop equipment - Maintain proper repair standards. Provided warranty authorizations. Provide one-on-one technical training. - Improve communications between customers, dealers and installers and the company. - Professionally represent the company in all matters with customers, dealers and installers. Additional Responsibilities: - Handle other management assigned taskings in an efficient and timely manner - Performs quality audits as requested. Hours are Mon through Fri, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and occasional overtime
