Technical Support Specialist Hindawi Publishing Corporation is now expanding and hiring the following: Technical Support Specialist: Job Responsibilities: 1- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications. 2- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks. 3- Monitor and maintain network devices including switches, routers and firewalls. 4- Troubleshoot system and network problems as well as diagnose and solve hardware/software faults. 5- Set up new users accounts and profiles and deal with password issues. 6- Assist in the roll-out of new applications. 7- Perform scheduled maintenance upgrades. 8- Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Specifications: 1- Bachelor’s degree in any field. 2- Minimum 1 year of experience in a same position. 3- Good command of both written and spoken English. 4- Network+ and/or CCNA certification is a plus. 5- Deep knowledge of Windows Operating System, knowledge of hard desk management tools, Anti-Spyware, Microsoft Office, Network Management Software, Remote Control Software, LAN–IM, Ethernet cabling and cabling equipment is preferable. 6- Accuracy, excellent analytical skills, alertness and precession when dealing with hardware, software or data.
