Technical divers retrieved yesterday three bodies from inside the sunken M/V St. Thomas Aquinas in the coast off Talisay City, Cebu, raising the death toll in the sea tragedy to 96 and serving as a motivation for the search-and-retrieval teams to continue the search for 41 more missing. “The retrieval operations will continue. We stick to the goal of retrieving all the missing passengers and crew,” said Lt. Jim Alagao, spokesman of the military’s Central Command, as he announced the retrieval of the bodies of a boy, a girl, and a woman.
