Ted Schubel with Info to Go - A majority of Spotsylvania Supervisors said tonight they support fully funding a request by county schools of nearly 1.6 million dollars in new money. The money comes from a change in the personal property tax. Residents will still on average pay about 28 dollars less in personal property taxes in the new budget. Supervisors also indicated they support an 86 cent tax rate. A final vote on the budget is scheduled for Tuesday.
