Ted Schubel with Info to Go - From VDOT: Construction work is scheduled to begin in January 2015 on a two-year project to widen Fall Hill Avenue in the City of Fredericksburg between Central Park and the Rappahannock Canal bridge. Tonight, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a “Pardon Our Dust” pre-construction meeting at the following time and location: Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014 5-7 p.m.* James Monroe High School 2300 Washington Avenue Fredericksburg, VA 22401 *A brief presentation will be delivered at 5:30 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend the meeting to meet the construction team, ask questions, view project plans and learn about upcoming traffic impacts. Fall Hill Avenue will remain open to traffic during the project, with periodic lane closures.
