Ted Schubel with Info to Go - From the Stafford Sheriffs Office: The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a suspicious person and suspicious activity this afternoon in the Vista Woods Subdivision. Yesterday afternoon at 1:00 pm, Stafford Deputies responded to Vista Woods Road for a report of a suspicious man. When deputies arrived on scene they came in contact with a 9 year old male juvenile who told deputies that while he was standing with his bike along Vista Woods Road a man drove up to him and told the boy to “Get in, get in”. The young boy immediately got on his bike and road through a yard to his house. Inside the truck with the male subject were a female and a small child in the back seat. At no time did the male try to grab the young boy. Deputies saturated the area looking for the vehicle but were unable to locate it. The vehicle the subject was driving is described as a black Toyota pickup with a dented front bumper area. The male subject is described as white male, approximately 30 years of age with an orange shirt, brownish-black hair with a reddish-brown beard. The female is described as a black female, approximately 30 years of age with long black hair and a black dress. There was no description of the baby in the back seat. The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public that if they have any information as to the identity of the individuals described or any information about the incident to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 540-658-4400, call Crime Solvers at 540-659-2020 (callers may remain anonymous) or text “STAFFORD + your tip to CRIMES (274637).
