Teddy Bear’s Picnic As part of a whole school fund raising for - TopicsExpress

Teddy Bear’s Picnic As part of a whole school fund raising for improvements in our outdoor space, we are asking children to bring a teddy to nursery on Thursday p.m. 22nd Jan and Friday a.m. 23rd Jan. Snack time that day will be in the form of a teddy bear’s picnic and there will be lots of teddy bear themed activities. The funds the nursery raises will go towards a new piece of equipment for our nursery garden - the children will help us choose. It would be great if you could donate a 50p towards this project. Communication Our parent focus group has been looking into various forms of social media to improve communication between nursery and parents. We are taking advice from different people at the moment. Hopefully we will have more news for you on our progress quite soon. We are always looking for more parents to join our parent focus group so please let us know if you are interested. We hold two meetings on the day to help a.m. and p.m. parents come more easily. One meet is at 8.15 and the other is at 2.45 - siblings are welcome. The next date is on Wednesday, February 18th. Just to remind you our next ‘Stay and Play’ day is coming up. It is on Tuesday 27th of January and it is always great to see a good turnout. On your arrival at nursery on a ‘Stay and Play’ day you do exactly that – just make yourself comfortable playing with your child and meeting all their nursery friends or have a wander round and speak to the team. We are here to help you and answer any questions. It is a good time too, to speak to your child’s key worker and get a little update on how everything is going. Generally parents/carers stay around half an hour. Note that there are eye checks on that day as well, so there may be a little coming and going
