Tee times: Sony Open in Hawaii, Rounds 1-2 0rn.co/fY2 PGA Tour Jimmy Walker ( Associated Press ) By Golfweek Staff Wednesday, January 14, 2015 The PGA Tours second event of the season, the Sony Open in Hawaii, will begin Thursday. Jan. 15-18, Waialae CC, Honolulu DEFENDING CHAMPION: Jimmy Walker $1,008,000 first prize; $5.6 million total purse FEATURED GROUPS: Russell Henley, Jimmy Walker, Zach Johson are grouped together in the first two rounds. All three players have won in Hawaii the last three years. PGA Tour rookies Max Homa and Justin Thomas will play together with Japans Hideto Tanihara. Another group features Matt Kuchar, Webb Simpson and Luke Donald.
