Teenage footballers in Peterborough are invited to a six-week project starting next week. YDP (Youth Dreams Project) Street Soccer is particularly aimed at young people in the Millfield area and will be held on Wednesdays, starting on July 30. It has been organised by PCSOs Thomas V Puthenpurayil and Dan Grant and will be based at Hobson Park, in Cromwell Road. PCSO Puthenpurayil said he hoped the project would tackle anti-social behaviour. He said: “We would like to attract as many young people, boys and girls, between the ages of 13 and 19, as possible. There is no cost to take part and there will be a trip to Peterborough United’s stadium. “This is a great opportunity for young people to get involved in something fun and positive in a safe environment.”
