Tel Aviv August Events Dynamic cultural events fill out the August calendar. Theatre, comedy, dance and more await culture-lovers in Tel-Aviv during Israels hottest month. This August Tel-Aviv presents dance festivals, iconic comedy performances, international shows and childrens theatre. Dance 2014 – Suzanne Dellal Center, all of August, 18:00, 190/160ILS This dance event brings a wide range of dance genres to the stage. Performances will be by leading Israeli dance companies, creative dance groups and international dance companies. There will be Eastern, African and Indian dance as well as flamenco and contemporary dance. Crazy Tuesday – Orient Fairground, Tuesdays in August, workshops at 17:30, shows at 18:30, free Childrens theatre shows and creative workshops for kids will be offered for the whole family this August. The shows will include performances of old favorites like Pinocchio by famous childrens entertainers. Local businesses are offering discounts and free give-aways to the audiences and there will be plenty of food available. Now you can see the show screened in Tel-Aviv. The iconic British comedians Michael Palin, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam perform a medley of their famous sketches.
