In our article “Al-Qaeda’s Inspire magazine editor sought over Boston marathon bombing” (29 April 2014) we stated that official sources had claimed that the editor was a jihadist who went under the pseudonym of Yahya Ibrahim. It was wrongly illustrated with a photograph of a real Yahya Ibrahim, an academic who is unconnected with Al-Qaeda and is not a jihadist. We apologise to Mr Ibrahim for the embarrassment caused.
