Senior Officer Business Assurance Level: Senior Officer Report to : Head of Business Assurance Summary Job Purpose: To perform basic activities, in regarding to the Internal HSSE and Supply Chain HSSE Management, in order to ensure that Telenor’s employee and suppliers complied with Telenor’s HSSE requirements Principal Accountabilities : Perform supporting roles in communicating to supply chain in regards to Company’s Supplier Conduct Principles (SCP) and Agreement on Responsible Business Conduct (ABC) requirements, in order to ensure alignment with company’s rules and regulations Support and assist senior members to develop contacts with suppliers, and create HSSE awareness among their employees, to ensure alignment and standardization throughout the company Provide basic support to employees under supply chain undergo Telenor’s HSSE V-learning program, in order to ensure understanding and awareness of corporate HSSE Visit suppliers/sub-suppliers in project work premises, to perform relevant inspections, with guidance from senior members, to ensure that suppliers are performing their assignments in compliance with Telenor’s HSSE requirements Support the development of HSSE Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ), and send out to existing and new suppliers, or related departments, as well as gather their responses, in order to ensure that HSSE practice are in alignment with standards, policies, and regulatory requirements Support senior members in providing information to categorize the suppliers into high, medium or low risk based on Telenor’s EasyRisk matrix, in order to create awareness regarding to risk levels Provide basic support to suppliers in regards to risk assessment, in order to efficiently perform preventive or control measures to reduce their risk levels Assist senior members to plan and carry out supplier site inspections during construction and O&M phase and upload them onto the Group EasyRisk database, to be information and direction in working process Collaborate with suppliers in regards to the observations or findings raised during the inspection process, in order to effectively address problems or issues found Provide information to support the process of monthly reporting KPIs on the supply chain HSSE requirements, to ensure suppliers align with HSSE requirements frequently Coordinate effectively to implement Telenor’s HSSE Management system internally and in the supply chain, to ensure Telenor employees and the supplier are complied with Telenor’s HSSE requirements Support senior members in the process of data management on audits, inspections, awareness and training programs, in order to ensure alignment with company’s process and standardization Support senior members in handling with grievances regarding Telenor’s site acquisition, as well as serve as local contact point where external parties may make inquiries and file complaints, to ensure that issues are resolved and managed Record and update all filed grievances in compliance with Telenor’s procedures, in order to address issues and solve grievances Support grievance resolution processes, to ensuring grievances are resolved efficiently and on a timely basis Collaborate with decision-making bodies in local community to address and resolve issues that deviations from Telenor’s site acquisition risk mitigation requirements, with guidance from senior members, to ensure that site acquisition activities are being implement in regards to original plan and timeline Support senior members to liaising with the local community for communicating the benefits of network construction and mobile communication, in order to understanding local community and support Telenor’s activities in their local setting Support senior members to plan for local promotion of facilities and value added services such as Community Information Centers and facilitating their implementation as they become available, to ensure that promotions are implement effectively Monitor uptake and use of the above, providing guidance and strategic support to relevant Telenor Myanmar departments, to ensure alignment with business sustainability Learn to use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve patterned problems Be accountable for other certain works as assigned from immediate superior level Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree (4 year) or higher in Safety, Engineering, or related technical field 10 years of safety experience in managerial role and project in HSSE, safety and environment, CSR strategy Must be independent, resourceful, and good team player Good initiative, interpersonal and communication skills.
