Tell Facebook we want an animal abuse option when reporting unacceptable content on Facebook! Please recognize animal cruelty for what it is and add the option to report animal abuse. Why this is important Animal abuse is a worldwide problem and one that most organizations recognize as being unacceptable. So why is it then that Facebook, the most popular social media website in existence does not? There are countless instances of groups, individuals and pages on Facebook who revel in and promote animal abuse in many forms and there is no option available to report them to Facebook for what they are. For instance, a page promoting dog fighting which is barbaric, immoral, illegal, and as such is deemed by most as being totally unacceptable for inclusion on Facebook. Content like this should be reported to Facebook for investigation, exclusion and if necessary referral to law enforcement agencies, but reported as what? Harmful behavior? graphic violence? Content such as this needs to be recognized and dealt with by Facebook for what it is; Animal Abuse.
