Tell me this, how much of my labor belongs to you? (you being employers and business. How much of my own productivity should I be allowed to keep? 75%, 66.67%, 50%, 33.33%, 25%, 16.67% 12.5%, 10%, 5%, maybe 1%? See, in the past 40 years, the worker productivity has doubled, yet worker wages have stagnated. The worker has gone from bein paid, on average, 50% of their productivity to 25% of their productivity as compared by median wages and productivity. So, please, tell me how much should I donate to the employer through decreased wages? My time, on average generates more profits, so should I not reap the benefits of this increased productivity or should I simply resign myself to a life of poverty so that the employer may get rich? Yeah, think about that. (See, technology has made things more efficient, and business owners have used that to increase productivity, however, that capital investment has come at the cost of increased worker wages, and their labor efforts paid, in part or in whole, for these capital investments, they are as entitled to their benefits as anyone else.
