Tell me where I’m wrong. The government shutdown, was brought on by Republican representatives of Congress placing a bill that put it in writing that, if the government didn’t defund or delay The Affordable Care Act, (aka Obomacare that was passed by both houses, signed into law by the president and upheld by the Supreme Court!) the government would shut down. The Democrats rejected that ultimatum about defunding or delaying the Affordable Healthcare Act, so the government shut down, according to what the Republican Congress had stipulated. Now, I hear that Republican representatives from both houses accuse the Democrats of wanting this shutdown, of causing this shutdown, and of belligerently not compromising with the Republican Congress about opening up certain parts of the government, so that the public and certain employees won’t suffer. WTF???! I blame them for this whole fiasco…and it’s not because I’m Democrat. It’s because I can discern facts from fiction and can condemn political stupidity that hurts American citizens financially and the country economically. Tell me what I’m missing?
