Telstra has just advised me that they cannot provide internet to our address. This is after three weeks of negotiating a new business package covering landlines, mobiles and internet. This is after the contracts have been signed, after all the hardware has been delivered, after the new mobiles have been put into service. The new ADSL internet service was supposed to have been connected yesterday (with a rock solid service guarantee). After much waiting on phone menus I finally found someone today who told me that there were no available ports at the Mylor exchange so it couldnt be connected. So sorry. Luckily I didnt cancel our existing ADSL service (through Internode). Internodes ADSL is expensive, patchy, sloooooow (not enough oooos) and takes days to repair when it fails - but at least it exists some of the time.
