I believe that when you say I love you to a guy you really mean it.... or is it a way of you finding out how the guy feels about you??.... ke eng ke botsa...?... well here is why.... let me say a guy meets a girl... the guy lies to her n she believes the lies n they end up bonking that night or the night after..... the bonking is the best she has ever had.... two days later after the bonking the guy receives an sms I love you!... from the girl... now pause... if you say I love you to a guy... n he doesnt love you.... yet (especially after two days..)... this is what you might get in response.. really? Or wow.. thats soo sweet or the common one .... nothing.. no reply!.. auti wa bo a ipotsa gore gatwe ke reng tota.... n immediately hell call his friend and tell him the story...a mme ea bo ele lorato??? After two days of bonking??... I wonder... but thats not what I wanted to talk about today.... here is what I wanted to post... hehehe... Batswana... is our language boring..? .. is it inferior as compared to other languages... (english).?... have we been brainwashed to think or believe that setswana se gaisiwa ke sekgoa ka boleng...?.. fa o ka raya ngwanyana ore kea go rata babe... o tla utwa a go bolella gore kea leboga or thanks, no problem with that.... now tell the same girl ore I love you!... shed be shocked... shed tell you that those are very big words n are too special to jusy say to people. .!!!... um like wtf???? Isnt it the same words??... or setswana sa rona ga se special jaaka sekgoa???... rea ikgatelela tota Batswana... um not saying dont speak English... um saying dont let it overshadow your own language... ha lekgoa leka raya le lengwe lere kea go rata... they are going to just laugh about it.... but if they say it in their own language then its serious...!... dont get me wrong... I am not a languagecist (someone who discriminates based on languages... ha ha ha ha... word is born!)... o tla utlwa gotwe sekgoa makes it more lovely..!!??? Aaooo... setswana makes it boring???... cmon people. .. re batswana mo Botswana... a place where guys can laugh at you for not knowing English... tell me of a story where English people had laughed at anyone of their own for not knowing any other languages other than their own.... tell me........ um waiting....... anyone....?... see.. never!!.. now, stop being easily manipulated and coaxed to be dishonest to your own language... by whites or whoever it is thats f****ing with our brains..!!!... I have friends... a married couple... they are proud that their standard two kid doesnt know setswana... she only speaks English....!!.. thats just sickening to me.... fa ke ba botsa they get offended.... most of Batswana fa ba bua sekgoa they feel like they are important n very intelligent....!!... nna I find that very dumb... its like being happy that you can speak... period!!... I mean its a language... u speak it... thats all..!!.. where is the intelligence n specialityness (I dont even know if its a known word... but hey...**&£€_^#@×//! ) .. where does it come in?????.... o kare rea itebala waitse... be proud of our language guys.... it will never change... no matter how well we speak a foreign language... we will always be Batswana..!!!
