Temperatures today crawled up to 51 degrees at Ohare after tumbling last night to a low of 25. Tonight we can expect lows to drift around the mid to upper 30s before taking a big jump on Monday to 62 degrees. With the warm-up will come an increase in cloudiness as a cold front approaches. These clouds should provide a little more rain to most areas, perhaps as much as a half inch to areas from Kankakee south and east to NW Indiana. The rest of the area should pick up a tenth to maybe a quarter inch. Winds will again be strong with gusts to more than 30 mph at times. More leaves to rake after that. There is also a slight chance of snow late Thursday after a few rain showers. Probably not enough to shovel, but Id never make a guarantee that far into the future. Have a good week!
