Temple Emanuel Sinai congregants are hosts for the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Worcester house on June Street in Worcester from December 15, 2013 to January 5, 2014. There are five Moms, a Dad, infants who need to be smiled at, toddlers who need to be played with and read to, school aged kids who need to do board games and crafts, and a teenager who needs someone to backtalk (joking!!!). There are fifteen mouths that must be fed. We need YOU to make the house a home. Spend the evening with the families (5:45 PM to 9 PM), or sleep overnight (8:45 PM to 6:45 AM - comfortable private sleeping quarters. We also need donations of diapers, wipes, paper goods, cleaning products, and funds, sent to the Temple office, earmarked for IHN. This is our major collective response to poverty in our community. Come meet the guests, spend time with them. THis is a mitzvah, our small way of being a light unto the world in a dark season. Message me what shift you want. Thanks!
