Temporary closure of KY 503 at Danleyton in Greenup County For drainage pipe replacement GREENUP, Ky. (June 10, 2013) – Replacement of a drainage pipe underneath KY 503 at Danleyton in Greenup County will require the Kentucky Department of Highways to temporarily close the highway two days this week. Beginning about 7 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, crews will close KY 503 to all through traffic at the four mile marker at Hensley Hollow Road. The road will reopen in the late afternoon, but will be closed again Thursday, June 13, during daytime work hours. Motorists may detour using KY 5, KY 207, or other routes. Road work is subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
