Temptation Leads to Sin Temptation is something that every human has had to deal with in their lifetimes. It began in the Garden of Eden with satan tempting Eve. When Adam and Eve gave into temptation, it brought sin into the world and caused their exile from the Garden. Mankind has fought temptation and sin ever since. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NLT). Sin separates us from God. Jesus sacrifice for us brought us back to God. Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. Hebrews 10:26 (NLT). In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. Mark 14:38 (NIV) & Hebrews 12:4 (NIV). The devil and his angels are working feverishly day and night to lead humans into sin and separate humans from Gods provisions and amenities. And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, God is tempting me. God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. James 1:13 (NLT). God desires that all men be saved, as much as it is possible. (God)..Who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4 (NLT). So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. 2 Peter 2:9 (NLT). Why are you sleeping? He asked them. Get up and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation... (said Jesus) Luke 22:46 (NLT). These are the last days before the second coming of Jesus. We need to be diligent! For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in Gods sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. Romans 2:13 (NIV).
