Temptations will always be there, no one has an insurance policy against temptations for through many trials and tribulations we will enter into the Kingdom of God. There is a difference between a test and a temptation. A test comes from God whereas a temptation comes from the devil. A test focuses on your strength whereas a temptation focuses on your weaknesses. Despite the fact that a temptation comes from the devil, it is God who permit the devil to tempt us. Now God cannot permit you to be tempted beyond what you can bear, when He allows a temptation He also provide a way out. When God allows you to be tempted, it is a sign that you have what it takes to stand against the temptation and you are mature enough in the area wherein you are tempted - so it is an honour to be tempted. For you cant let your 5 year old child to pay his bills because he is still a child. Temptations might come, troubles might come, but we are going to keep on moving. The key to overcoming temptations is prayer, for it is written, Pray so that you may not yield in to temptations. Regardless of how frightening and great you think your temptation is, always remember that because of prayer you are strong and you are not weak. Remember Jeseph with Portiphas wife, Jesus Christ with satan in the wilderness, Moses with Pharaoh in Egypt - they all did not yield to temptations which required their faith because of prayer and the word of God in their lives.
