Tempted to write so many things about Ferguson and the reflection there of our country. But I wont. There are no victories here. There is no absolute right and wrong or blame. Grey has never been a more fitting color. I will say simply this - and you know for me thats a rarity - we have failed our children. We have failed our communities. And we continue to do so. Ferguson is simply a reflection of a greater wound - all around. We must educate our youth, give them a reason to dream like I had growing up - black, white, brown - whatever the color or race - we must reinvent the notion of greater purpose in our country. We must demonstrate at the very highest level of governing that there is more to it that winning or being right. Washington is a mess. Ferguson is a mess. The thin line between the two is just that, the distance from Washington to Ferguson a heartbeat away. My prayers are for all involved directly that love will win out. Brotherly love. Gods love that is meant for us all.
