Ten Days to go! Well, here we are you and I. I cannot even comprehend the magnitude Of this enormous, beautiful truth. It it be a dream, let me never awaken. You keep calling me back, back to I am. I stray into values that are not my own, But you fight to keep me where I belong. You love me so unconditionally, I cannot comprehend this. I have never known.... Such care, such acceptance, such bliss. I feel a failure, but that is not what you see. I feel a beast, but you see a Prince, I feel afraid, but you, the shy one, fight the monsters away. I feel a liar, I should not be here, but you remind me....here I am. One word, one simple word... Yes! It did not come easy for you. At first I figured it would end, But you stayed way after pretend. Gratitude cannot express, Love so often overused.... But belong, that is the word. To totally give to one another. I give myself to you. Yes. With reservation, But I am hoping to learn sweet innocent trust again. I love your sound, your touch, your sight, your taste and your smell. I like you right side up and upside down. What an amazing woman you are. Never have I felt so much joy, so much pain, so much hope! I give myself freely, not just on our day..... But everyday..... For we are not a couple, but of something even deeper still. One with God and each other and those in our lives....what mystery. Yet, it all three of these ideas, The lean up, the lean next, the lean out are interdependent. I sleep with God each night... a friend is not yours or mine but ours.....and we discover the eternal. Dearest Erin, I kneel to you, In Spirit for now, But perhaps one day more, I never have to be anyone but me...and this reduces me to tearful joy and triumphant despair. I belong to you, We are one, Yet we are not alone, Because of Him, And everyone. I Love You! I belong to you! the merger is complete, Though not yet begun. Let us begin and finish this new formed completeness..... THE MYSTERY
