Ten Years After ... In 2004 I built a stage in Jeffersonville, New York. I was renting a storefront on Main Street , and behind the building was a large pole building. I went to the town and applied for a change of use permit, and spent many hours making a place where I could have concerts and events, and hopefully the community would get involved and use it for community functions. Well, I went through the hoops, built the stage, and had a few concerts. It turns out that the cost for the liability insurance involved in an operation of this sort was way out of my league at the time, and a lack of community interest in the place somewhat quenched my zeal in this department , and I was motivated to walk away. Since then the place had went into disarray, and sat abandon for many years. Recently some of the established town business folk have been fixing the place up, and its FINALLY being used for what I had first had in mind. That kind of thing makes it all seem worthwhile I reckon. The sound is great in that shed.
