Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. zero Now what is going to take place. Usually when we hear someone counting backwards there is going to be something take place immediately at the end of the countdown. Do you think the Lord may be counting down the time to come after his own. Some are very foolish in thinking life will just keep going on the same as it always has; however, if there is one certainty in life, it is life is ever changing. Today I cannot go back home for where I live is the only home I have. Cant go to Dad and Moms house nor my grandparents homes for they are all gone. I am here today, but I too could be gone tomorrow. Some things will tell people I have past through this world, but all signs will eventually vanish and it will be forgotten that I was ever here at all. What should be the most important goal in our lives? Knowing this life will pass away, we all should prepare for our eternal journey of eternal life with the Lord. For all who believe in Christ and serve Him, there is a place prepared by the hand of Christ to dwell in eternal glory with God. All we need are the essentials of life to live and if we gain more than this, who will it belong to when our race is run. We really own nothing, it is all loaned to us for a very short time. All I have is my soul and spirit that is going to live on. Everything else will perish. My goal is working for the Lord to the best of my ability. The count down started on each of our lives when we were born. We have no idea how close it is to zero and liftoff, so we need to live everyday like it is our last day on earth.
