Ten things about me: 1. My brother scarred me as a teenager by taking the money my family gave me to get a car and used it to buy a 1974 army green Vista Cruiser station wagon with a moon-roof. This was done after a fight when I told him I did not want a green car or station wagon. I had to drive it for 2 years, and always drove shielding my eyes with my left hand to avoid being seen. 2. Some of you will need to google moon-roof to know what that is and to understand just how ugly that car was. 3. My brother still laughs at the stated above evilness and I still hold it against him despite the fact I live him to pieces! 4. My friend and former co-worker Bill Kostimiris worked with me at a restaurant for years and one night put cherry tomatoes on the ends of my windshield wipers during a rainstorm at work. He left me a teasing note about my Vista Cruiser and when I turned the wipers on seeds were everywhere. I laughed forever over it. 5. I had a crush on a boy in college while still having to drive that damn green car. I was in the parking lot at college sitting in the car when he was walking towards me. I shielded my face hoping he would walk by, but then heard knocking on my drivers window. Yes, it was him and I instantly blurted out it was not my car. I never did date him. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that every time I accelerated the engine would tilt and the car would spark the concrete! Maybe he knew it was unsafe as I peeled out of that parking spot! Haha! 6. Many childhood issues stem from having to drive that green car. 7. I have a half-brother Jeff that I never knew of until I was older. Ive only met him once. He and his family will be driving to his wifes familys home in GA for Thanksgiving. I get to see him and meet his family next week! Jeff and I have talked weekly for 2.5 years. 8. My goal is to get my MBA. I started to go back to school but quit when we had to move to IL. I have to finish! 9. Having three boys, I only love to watch their games and do anything I can not to miss them. I spend enough time on the field and have little patience to sit and watch games on TV. 10. Being a cancer survivor has changed my life in so many ways for the better.
