Ten years after Garden State, his highly-regarded debut, Zack - TopicsExpress

Ten years after Garden State, his highly-regarded debut, Zack Braff returns with another sweet, funny, thoughtful and observant story about a guy who cant get in touch with himself, let alone with God, as we understand God. Are we to think the protagonists surname only coincidentally the same as the most famous Bloom in modern western literature? Wonderfully cast and skillfully performed. I felt the ending spooned on the sentiment just a bit too liberally, but the discussions about spirituality and family more than made up for that. Theres a scene between Kate Hudson, the wife, and Mandy Patinkin, the dying father, thats worth your ticket. We both liked this film a lot.
