Ten years ago my doctor-friend called to tell me shed gotten her hands on my biopsy and it was cancer and these beautiful ordinary people came running and we had Coronas on the deck while the kids rode tricycles in circles around us and I knew that I was safe. Photos posted here with so much love and appreciation and a few tears, I guess because I even know people like you and because not everyone gets better. Stupid lucky. Stupid lucky.
