Ten years ago on this day, I started a collage on my Xanga page called the Wall of Smiles, where I would take a picture of my friends looking off to the side and smiling, as if they were looking at the content of my Xanga page and liked what they saw. I managed to get a little over 300 smiles, including a local celebrity in Glenn Hurricane Schwartz. After a while, I stopped doing it when Myspace took over as the top social networking website at the time and Xanga fell deep into obscurity. I could only imagine how long the Wall of Smiles could have gotten if I had continued on with it today. I would tag all of the people that are on the Wall of Smiles, but Facebook doesnt allow you to tag more than 100 people. Haha. Lets see if you guys remember actually being on the Wall of Smiles.
