Ten years ago today, I rolled into Las Vegas with my parents following in a U- haul full of my high school/college possessions, after having broken down in the Arizona desert; our first dose of Southwest heat, with a grumpy dad and tentative mom reluctant to drop me off in this crazy city. I remember penny-pinching at Ashley furniture to furnish my apartment, a broke college kid, and knowing nobody and nothing. I played my first gig, Anthony M DiGregorio and Lani Grunstad DiGregorios wedding on this day...a decade for them, too. These past ten years have been filled with tours, incredible gigs with people I never dreamed of meeting, let alone sharing a stage with, finishing a masters degree, starting and growing my own business, illnesses and deaths in my family, tough life lessons, a lot of mistakes, but mostly... learning how to unashamedly be myself and believe in what I am doing, no matter who told me I couldnt or shouldnt along the way. Its been a wild ride, but Ive come to a pretty comfortable place with my family, friends, recent partnership with UD Factory and Bella, and of course Michael. I wonder what the next ten years have in store?
