Tenure is just a word meaning we have the right to due process. Without this right we would not be able to be the advocates our students need. Without this I would have been dropped years ago for my outspoken advocacy for both my students and fellow teachers. We have to have the ability to speak freely, and without the fear of being fired, for our students and what is right for them. Without that Californias kids will suffer. Just ask a teacher, not a charter proponent or business person. Asks teacher whats right for the classroom and students and PLEASE for the good of all education vote for Tom Torlakson!!!!
